On Friday 9th April, Hon. Clayton Bartolo, Minister for Tourism and Consumers Protection at the Government of Malta, announced in a press conference that the Malta Tourism Authority (MTA) has just launched Incentives for Free Independent Travellers (FIT).

Earlier today, Hon. Alex Muscat, Junior Minister for Citizenship and Communities, announced on LinkedIn that “[a]n agreement signed between Agenzija Komunita Malta and the Rabat Local Council will lead to the restoration of the Niche of St Paul in Saqqajja square, with an investment of €100,000.”

Further to the publication of the Malta Permanent Residence Programme (MPRP) Regulations on Friday 26th March, the Malta Residence and Visa Agency (MRVA) has been officially replaced by the Residency Malta Agency (RMA).

On Friday 27th March 2021, the eagerly awaited Malta Permanent Residence Regulations, 2021 were officially published by virtue of Legal Notice 121 of 2021.
